DR. ROBERT A. LEE

Dr. Lee, who is the son of a minister, is the Pastor of the Second Missionary Baptist Church in Kokomo, Indiana, and the President of the Indiana Missionary Baptist State Convention.  Other leadership positions include President, Adelphos Ministerial Alliance of Kokomo.  Past Chairman Youth Advisor, Indiana Missionary Baptist State Convention; Past President, Indiana Missionary State Sunday Church School and Training Union Congress; Past lst Vice President Ministers Conference N.M.B.C.A.; Vice President Assistant Dean, Central Baptist Theological Seminary of Indiana. 

He studied chemical technology for two years at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. Dr. Lee received a diploma in Leadership Training from Central Baptist Theological Seminary of Indiana.  He went on to receive a Bachelor of Theology Degree from this institution in 1980 and a Doctor of Divinity degree in 1990 from Central Baptist.  Bridging the gap between his Bachelors and Doctoral Degrees he was awarded a Master of Theology degree from the International Bible Institute and Seminary in Orlando, Florida in 1986.

Dr. Lee serves on many Advisory Boards; including the Howard County Community Corrections; Pastoral Care at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center, Kokomo Howard County Mental Health Association; Howard County Youth Center, Minority Task Force at IU, Kokomo.  His memberships and appointments includes Life Member NAACP; Professional Consultation Committee, Howard Community Hospital; Economic Development Commission, Howard County Chaplain, Kokomo Police Department; Member Community Commission on Drug Abuse; Executive Committee, Kokomo, IN Branch NAACP(Past)Planning Commission Kokomo, IN; Board of Trustees Park Board of Kokomo IN (Pres 1988-89)  Member International Conference of Police Chaplains.

Dr. Lee has received the Training Award from the Boy Scouts of America Certificates of Recognition from the Mayor's Advisory Board and the Strategic Air Command at Grissom Air Force Base.  Citation of Missions from Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Convention (85-98).  Certificates of Appreciation from both the Indiana Black EXPO, Kokomo Chapter and Grissom AFB 305th Refueling Wing, and a Certificate of Achievement from the executive Management Training Program-Congress National Black Churches - Howard University.

Dr. Lee married Clementine Barrow in 1968 and has a son, Robert Clemont, a daughter, Angela Kristine and a grandson, Robert D. T. Lee.
